SYNOPSIS

Four close friends bound together by tragedies struggle to survive when their relationship loyalties are challenged by deeds that cannot be undone.

Upper - middle class Samantha finds comfort in her friendship with cousin Elli, a product of a troubled past hosted by a small town trailer-park. The tragic death of Elli’s parents leads to the girls being brought up as sisters. Ten years later all is well, until they are faced with the sudden death of Samantha’s family. This sparks unbelievable events that will change their lives forever.

Jonas and Antonio are childhood best friends, whose friendship unravels when their lives intertwine with Samantha and Elli. Jonas, another well-to-do suburbanite, drops out of college to comfort his childhood friend Samantha after her family’s death. They eventually come to realize the deep love they share.

Raised by his widowed mother, who is later diagnosed with cancer, Antonio slowly becomes vulnerable. This vulnerability lends itself naturally to the hostility he begins to display toward everyone.
